Pondering Proverbs

Words of wisdom from my dear friend, King Solomon:

3:11
My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.

10:6
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

14:26
In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have refuge.

16:1
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

17:1
Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife.

19:2
Desire without knowledge is not good

19:11
Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

21:13
Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.

22:17
Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge, for it will be pleasant if you will keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.  That your trust may be in the Lord, I have made them known to you today, even to YOU.

31:25
Strength and dignity are her clothing and she laughs at the time to come.  She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Thank you Sol for offering free wisdom. May it be written on my heart and ever on my tongue.

LOVE the proverbs! I've been reading through them lately too! I just read a post by Marla Barnard (I saw you are on her friend list), and it was so close to what we were talking about today! Crazy. I guess we're not alone, huh?! :)
I enjoyed talking to you about just the simple stuff in life. It's refreshing to me everytime to know that motherhood is messy and I'm not the only one~!

Videos are fun! :) I really don't know much about computers. I lived with a PC for years, so this MAC thing is throwing me off. I just save my videos in a folder on my computer, like I save my pictures. Then I just click the "add video" link on my blog and search for it like that.....hopefully that helps a little. I wish I had more to give..... :) Love your blog, it's always so encouraging and very fun to read! Hope you and your beautiful family have a great weekend!
