Toddler on the Loose

It is 10:15 am and my kids are both still asleep. This little "late sleeping miracle" has become something that happens from time-to-time in the Ingram household. No need to be jealous, I've paid my time with early, early mornings up until recently.

My doorbell rang a few minutes ago and I cringed at how loud it was for fear of waking the babes. It was Joey, the janitor from the school across the street (which I know from tutoring), and he asked me if I was missing a child.

Apparently, they found a naked toddler running down the street and thought he might be mine.

How scary is that?
Although mine are both tucked away in bed, I did panic for a moment wondering if Noah had snuck out on me.
Nope. We are safe this time. Both children accounted for!
I hope they find this little dude's home really quickly; I bet he has one frantic mamma.

Have you ever lost (or rather lost track of) your child?

Oh my gosh!!!! that is the scariest thing ever!!! I can not believe that! I am so glad he went to the school though! Maybe someday that little kid can tell everyone he lived out that dreadful dream everyone has, "Going to school naked!" But, that probably won't be funny for a very long time!!!
