I have been busy cleaning the house to be shown. I remember from our last house how much work it is having a house on the market, but having two children whose biggest talent is making messes makes this even harder. I've started telling Noah that people are coming to look to see how clean our house is and that they are going to be looking at his room as well. I'm not sure how much it's helped, but... hey.
Today we were at Target and Noah made a scene. When we walked by the bras he yelled, HEY MOM, THOSE ARE DA FANGS THAT WE PUT OUR BOOBS IN! And then he whipped his shirt off and started demonstrating how to use a bra. I couldn't stop him fast enough, he had a crowd of people laughing. Boys (sigh).
Jennifer emailed me and let me in on a huge story that I somehow missed. All this time, I was thinking that I was no mother of the year, yet I was so wrong. Ha! Check this out. It's pretty funny.
Tomorrow is our anniversary! From what I've been told, we have a fun afternoon planned. I'm excited!!! Brad and I have been married for four years. We dated for six years before we got married and so I feel like we have been together for so long. We have. I can hardly remember life without him. awwww.
Has anyone date longer than six years? It's not for everyone, but it worked well for us. How long did you and your husband date before marrying? Let's see who the earns the shortest and longest dating award...

Thanks for your prayers...I posted an update on Mandy in my blog, but the surgery went well. Jason and I dated for four years and have been married for almost two! My parents dated for 10 years before they got married! It is so great to share so many memories together! Happy Anniversary!

ummm....Zach & I started dating Nov. 13th & he asked my Dad for my hand two days after Christmas (same year) and then we were married in July - so we together for 8 months before we were married - then Zoe came along the next August - - why wait huh!!! :)

Noah cracks me up! Jeremy and I started dating Feb 1997 and we were married Dec of 2004. So we dated 7-1/2 years and we have been married 4-1/2. It does seem like such a long time!

Jeremy & I dated for almost 4 years before we got married and we've been married for a little over 2.
Of course, if it makes you feel any better, I think Mark & Layne have been together for about the same time frame as you and Brad. About 6 years of dating, and 4 years of marriage. :-)

You are in my thoughts as you show your house. I remember thinking it was so hard to get things together for a showing because saylor seemed to know that I needed to get busy and she HAD to be held. I can't imagine how difficult it must be with two kiddos that can probably destroy a room in two seconds flat. I hope it sells fast and you don't have to deal with it for long.

I love your story about the bras. So funny! My husband, Heath, and I dated for 9 months and engaged for 7, so 16 in all. And I was only 18-19!!! Crazy. We celebrate our 5th this summer!!!
I don't know you that well, but we were in Phi Lamb together, and maybe you remember me?? I'm not sure! Anyways, I have been dating my boyfriend for 9 years! Still no ring on the finger yet. If we ever get married, it'll probably be in another 2 years. So, we will have been dating possibly 10 or 11 years before marriage! So, don't feel bad about your 6..we'll almost double it!! ;) But, I have finally realized that everyone is different and there's no need to feel guilty about it. Happy anniversary a few days late!! Man, I'm not sure Justin would have married me if we had dated for 6 years. We only dated for 4 MONTHS before our 3 month engagement!! We got married in Jan. and had only know OF each other for a year at that point. Crazy!!

Hey, cliff and i dated 6 months start to finish. First date was in Feb. of 2005 and we were married on Aug. 13, 2005. =) Grace came along 10 months later.
