My bubba boy isn't feeling too swell today and so we have had a few extra tears shed. He gets croup this time every year, it is related to the weather, but is still no fun. My gal had a fantastic second birthday party. She keeps telling me "my. birthday. party. fuuuun!" She leaves a little pause in between each word. Cutie.
Our small group began the Crown Financial study last week and so this was our first week of homework. I love reading things related to money and learning better ways to trust the Lord with and handle finances, but I have had such a hard time fitting all of this fun in over the last week. It's just been so busy. Has anyone done the Crown study? What are your thoughts on it?
Other big news, Brad painted the outside of our house this weekend. He spent ALL day Friday scraping and painting the house. It looks much, much better. He also finished our back splash and installed two outlets in a built-in in the living room (with the help of a talented friend). My man has worked hard!

Crown Fin. is great. Dad and Carman did it 2 years ago and actually taught the class at their church. Their finances completely turned around that year as they watched the Lord bless what they were doing. Dad said he'd never felt such a peace and relief in his heart regarding finances in his life previously.
Keith and I did financial peace university with Dave Ramsay. Pretty much the same thing. I love how God actually says to test Him in the area of finances and watch how faithful He will be. Blessings to you and Brad as you learn!

It may have a LITTLE to do with my birthday, but is has even more to do with pumpkins, cool weather, falling leaves and college football. Don't believe me? Okay, well maybe 50% is due to my birthday.

We have taught Crown to our small group and I think it's great. Several couples greatly benefited frome it (including us). In fact, I was thinking we should teach it again soon so that we can get a refresher!

I can't believe how quickly time flies! I looked at Kayt's birthday post (adorable little girl!) and am just blown away! It doesn't seem that long ago that I met you and Sarah for coffee after having Ethan with Kayt and Eisley in their carriers! wow.
