Magazine Junkie?
I'm really not.
I only receive a few magazines each month and I often never even get to them. It is alluring to curl up on the couch in a quiet house with a drink and a good magazine. I do it from time to time, but not regularly.
The few magazines that I receive are...
The Mr. gets Relevant and he loves it; that's his thing. Sometimes I sneak a peek, it's good.
Are you a magazine junkie? What magazines do you order/receive? Are you into food, decorating, clothing, current events or Hollywood gossip? Any suggestions on good home decor magazines?

I am NOT a magazine junkie. But 2 come to our house: D Magazine (a Dallas Magazine. Makes me feel connected to home), and Relevant.
But if you're in to food, the Martha Stewart Everyday Food Magazine is a great one. Easy recipes that rae delicious and have never disappointed me. Your post reminds me that I need to renew my subscription of that, right away!

I am a total magazine junkie, but I only have a subscription to one (Cooking Light) because I don't have time and a stack of unread magazines stresses me. I actually enjoy waiting at the doctor or dentist if they are well stocked with magazines.
I get Ballard Designs also! They have some great stuff!
I like Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel for home decorating also. Everyday with Rachel Ray is a staple in our house, and I also like Martha Stewart's Living.

I do like a good magazine. My Mom gets tons of them, so I usually wait for her hand-me-downs. I love Southern Living for recipes. They are always good. I love Country Living for decorating. It's just my style. I also like the free one's like you get from Pottery Barn and Ballards. I usually get to read mine in the car waiting to pick up Kailee from school or I read People at Barnes or in the grocery store line :) Please post if you hear of some good new ones!
I'm kinda a magazine person. The only two I get (in addition to the Pottery Barn catalog to steal decor ideas!) are:
Good Housekeeping which has great home tips & recipes
and my favorite is Real Simple. It covers tons of topics, and it's all super easy as the name implies.
I get Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens and Cooking Light from my mom. We alternate subscriptions to save money and not get duplicates.
For Hollywood gossip I just go to People.com or ew.com :-)
Jeremy of course gets Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine...
So now that I wrote all that it seems I read more magazine than I originally thought... hmmmmm
I am a total magazine junkie. I have had to cut down recently because I don't have the time to read them all. If I am stuck in a long checkout line, I flip through as many gossip mags as possible. I really do look at the photos. Although, I feel old, as I don't know who most of those people are. I get TV Guide, GH, Rachael Ray, Parents, People occasionally, Creative Knitting, and here's the best one -- Oxygen. Don't ask, I have good intentions to lose my 40 or so lbs. someday..........
I am a border line magazine junkie. However, I haven't checked the mail in about two weeks, so there's proof that I'm not too addicted.
I LOVE Real Simple - I bookmark at least 5 pages in every single edition and keep all of them. Lots of good stuff in there.
I used to subscribe to US Weekly, but didn't renew my subscription because I decided there are obviously WAY more important things that I could be reading up on!
I can say that I've saved a small fortune my subscribing to Real Simple - much, much cheaper for a 2 year subscription than buying one of the shelf every month!

My all time favorite magazine is/was Cottage Living. They discontinued it a couple of months ago. :(
You're going to laugh at the others I get b/c I'm neither a bride nor a teen. Haha! I get just about every bridal magazine there is as well as Teen Vogue, Seventeen, & Cosmo Girl. I get them for inspiration since I shoot a lot of Brides & Seniors. I read my celeb gossip on-line. ;)
I get Parents, Pottery Barn, and PB Kids. Mas grabs a Men's Health occasionally but doesn't have a subscription. That's it for us.
Although I think I need to check out Real Simple....
My absolute fave is WS Home, but only for inspiration. I like to rip off their ideas, but I think their decor is unmatched!
I am a MAJOR Magazine junkie. I get at least 9 subscriptions!! I utilize a lot of them for design inspiration for my business and home. I love the parenting mags because it keeps me up to date on any news/recalls/medical info for Noah. Here's the roll:

I cut out what inspires me and put into a binder that has clear sleeves. I have 3 binders: one for my business, one for baking/cooking, one for home decor.

I only saw one person with "Family Fun" magazine on this list. It is BY FAR my favorite magazine, with tons of great family and kid tips, traditions, crafts, ideas, etc. I toss my other mags after I read them (Parents, Parenting, Entertainment Weekly, and Real Simple), but never Family Fun.
I just got the newest issue in the mail yesterday, actually!
I'll keep it short..I am a magazine junkie as well. LOVE THEM. It is part of my down time. I get all the ones you do, but I also get REAL SIMPLE. It is the one mag that I can read cover to cover. It has great info in there from cleaning to organizing to decorating and etc. Great magazine. I'll loan you a few if you want.
