who knew?
I don't know if St. Patrick's Day is actually a holiday, per say, but I didn't even know that it was my favorite green day until this evening. And I am wearing black. There is always next year. Only 364 days and I will be the greenest person you know (or don't know). The facebook updates about being "pinched" make much more sense now.
I am a little out of touch with reality and the current news, obviously. Mr. Ingram is M.I.A. (working) and so I have been a single parent.
My reality consists of picnics, parks, basketball, books, chalk, making food and giving baths.
I may be out of touch with world events, but I am brushed up on American Idol. Any other A.I. watches out there? Who are you voting (or just cheering) for?

After tonight, I really like Matt Giraud. Simon said he reminded him of Michael Buble.....I thought that a few weeks ago. :)
Haha. Me watching American Idol is a totally understatement. I am a bit obsessed. The newlywed the Honea's are talking about is Kris Allen ;-). He's pretty great though-definitely a dark horse this season.
My favorites:
Megan Joy Corkrey (quirky girl with unique voice-sang "Walking After Midnight" tonight)
Matt Giraud (bluesy piano player that looks like Justin Timberlake)
Allison Iraheta (16 year old redhead, rocker voice)
and Danny Gokey.
I voted for both Megan and Matt tonight. Can't wait to hear Carrie Underwood & Randy Travis sing "I Told You So" tomorrow night. Brad Paisley is performing as well. Okay, I better stop now. I could discuss AI all night!
Don't feel bad.....I didnt know either - until I saw my brother and sister in law both wearing green shirts. I'll admit, I made fun of him for matching (they were about to go out to dinner). I felt stupid when he said it was st. Patricks day!
Matt Girard, Danny Gokey, and Allison Iraheta (seriously?! 16?!) are my ponies. It took awhile for me to forgive Girard for murdering Coldplay a few weeks ago though.
Also, can I just confess that Adam Lambert kind of gives me the heebie jeebies? It is funny to watch him stand next to Secrest though. Adam is a giant compared to Secrest. (Well, I guess a lot of people are.)
St. Patty's day has always been a "holiday" or BIG CELEBRATION since I met my husband. Mainly because it's his little sister's birthday! She turned 10 yesterday.
I like Matt Giraud and Anoop! My husband likes Megan Joy.

I like Megan ... I know she won't win but she reminds me of Duffy and Amy Winehouse a bit which means that I might actually buy her CD. I only vote for people that I would actually purchase their album!
